Whether as a personal hobby while studying Programming in your adolescence until today at ETIC_Algarve where you work as a Sound Assistant.
Ricardo Melgar was a student of the Creation, Musical Production and Sound Techniques course ’20/’22 and attended Top Up Year at ETIC in Lisbon in partnership with Solent University where he graduated in “Music Production”.
After finishing his course at ETIC_Algarve, Ricardo won the ERASMUS+ mobility grant, which allowed him to live for 3 months in Prague, Czechia. Among several projects, he participated as a sound technician and assistant at Composers Summit Prague 2023, which featured composers such as Harry Gregson-Williams (Narnia, Metal Gear Solid, Shrek, Gladiator II) and the National Symphony Orchestra of the Czech Republic.
A fanatic of audio manipulation and sampling, he is also a music producer for Jungle, Drum&Bass, Vaporwave and Hip-Hop.
