The Fujifilm X/GFX Tour 2025 arrives at ETIC_Algarve on September 20, 2025, bringing a full day of activities dedicated to photography, from inspiring talks to hands-on workshops.

A day to experience photography

From 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., photographers and enthusiasts will immerse themselves in a diverse program. In addition to inspiring talks, there will be portfolio reviews and the opportunity to try out Fujifilm X and GFX equipment. This makes the event a practical and educational experience.

The narrative of the short film focuses on Andriy, a young Ukrainian man about to become a father. While painting a crib in the backyard, preparing for the baby’s arrival, he is surprised by a visit from a military officer who hands him a draft notice.

Torn between the instinct to flee and his patriotic duty, Andriy is forced to confront the harsh reality of war. A poster of the poet Taras Shevchenko, an icon of Ukrainian resistance, awakens memories and deep feelings of identity, anger, and sacrifice.

Talks with professionals in the field

The stage will feature renowned photographers:

• Mário Cruz – internationally awarded photojournalist.
• Gil Ribeiro – renowned photographer on the national scene.
• Ricardo Bernardo – Professional photographer and instructor on the Professional Photography Technical Course at ETIC_Algarve.

With these guests in attendance, participants will have access to real knowledge and inspiring stories.

The event also features the workshop “More than Full Frame,” led by Ricardo Bernardo, who will share techniques and practical insights for those who want to take their photography to the next level.
