Photography Trainer and Tutor
Among his childhood memories he recalls the photographs taken with his grandfather’s Ikoflex and the first Kodak at the age of 8. From 1977 he joined the staff of the State Secretariat for Culture as a photographer. Since 1991, the year of the birth of ETIC, the Technical School of Image and Communication, he has been a teacher and coordinator of Photography courses.
Through the medium he photographed Heritage, for Art galleries, Theater and Dance groups. He was a member of the groups “Diapositivos” and “Neon” responsible for multimedia performance shows with musicians, actors and dancers in places as diverse as the Vilar de Mouros Festival, the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation’s Modern Art Center, Aula Magna, art galleries and bars in Bairro Alto. No longer believes that Photography helps save the world. Still believes the best thing in the world is people.
