Pedro Neves was born on July 26, 2000, and discovered his interest in technology early on, beginning his career with a professional Programming and Management course in secondary education. In Lisbon, he explored alternative learning methods at school 42, but it was upon returning to the Algarve that he found his true direction: the development of video games.

For two years at ETIC_Algarve, he delved into all phases of a game’s creative and technical process —from the initial idea to its implementation— and it was along this path that he discovered his two great passions: game programming and the 3D visual component, with a focus on modeling and texturing, using tools like Blender and Photoshop. In his second year, he interned at NerdMonkeys, one of the most recognized studios in the video game industry in Portugal, where he had direct contact with real production in a professional environment.

Motivated to go further, he completed the Bachelor of Sciences in Game Development with first-class honors through a partnership between ETIC_Algarve and Teesside University.

He is currently a technical assistant and trainer at ETIC_Algarve, where he accompanies and inspires future creators, sharing his experience and passion for video game development. Believes in the potential of games as a means of expression, innovation and transformation — and is dedicated to helping students transform ideas into unique interactive experiences.
