Ricardo Farinha
He has been writing for over a decade about culture and, above all, music.
He collaborates with media outlets such as Observador, Público, Mensagem de Lisboa, Comunidade Cultura e Arte, Rimas e Batidas or Time Out Lisboa, among others, having already written for BLITZ, Bantumen or the British Resident Advisor.
He is the author of the book “Hip Hop Tuga – Four Decades of Rap in Portugal” (2023) and was one of the curators of the multidisciplinary project “Filhos do Meio” (2024-2025) – an exhibition, documentary, cultural program and book about the history of hip hop culture in the municipality of Almada.
Among other projects, he has been teaching classes on the history of rap in Portugal at ETIC Lisbon since 2018, having been one of the promoters of the anti-racist solidarity compilation “Labanta Braço” (2020) and the author of the radio program “Raptilário” (2018-2021).
